Hey! My name is Mark O'Shea, and I'm the owner and lead photographer at Mark O'Shea Studio.

I love the UChicago campus. I graduated from the College in 2025, and finish a M.S. in 2027. 

 

I also love photography. With over a decade of experience across yearbooks, publications, and independent work, I’ve developed a strong foundation in both technical precision and authentic storytelling. My work has been recognized with Gold and Silver Key awards from the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards.

I started this company as a way to use my passion to serve people in my local community.

In my past work, I've sought to take photos that represent more than a physical appearance – images should reflect who you are in a defining moment and capture genuine emotion.

I approach every session with a simple goal: to help you feel comfortable, confident, and fully yourself. My hope is that the final images are something you’ll value for years to come.
